Be With The Ordinary And Experience Miracles
“Seek wonder in the ordinary, and miracles will happen that you cannot explain.”
Sarah N Rand
A friend, MC, passed this along to me this week, thank you. Yes to the words, my thinking about this quote/idea, as it gives me a reminder of all that is wonder in the world. And yes to the experience of noticing, the many parts, in any given moment that can be felt in my body. As MC and I communicated this week, I would think/see the words, feel my body respond and observe/describe feeling. This alone seems like a miracle…
Most times, as I sit, I notice the breath and it’s more of a thought. After a few minutes, I feel the breath, it’s more than a thought, it’s embodied and it feels like a miracle.
I find mindfulness meditation supports my intention to be with the ordinary and experience miracles…if only for a moment.
