Let Go
I have been doing some traveling lately and noticed “lots of different ways to do life”. I admit that I am “attached” to what I think I “should” do to “take care of business” in my life. I’ll keep most of my beliefs as they seem useful and know that some are not supportive…..I feel the drag of the “shoulds” and it’s unpleasant.
So, what are you “shoulding on yourself” about today? At times, I don’t even know I am doing it to myself yet I can feel my body tighten. Let’s pause, take a deeper, longer breath in/out, and soften those parts of the body that can be softened. Simple and a way to not drag your body around with all the “shoulds”.
I find mindfulness meditation supports my intention to let go….if only for a moment.
