Live More Fully Now
“Die before you die, so you can live more fully now.”
Mary Cosimano: Tales of Love and the Heart-Centered Guidance at John Hopkins, The Sacred Speaks podcast, @ 1:32:09
I found Ms. Cosimano’s discussion very insightful and a reminder of many patterns we experience daily. Several listed and the “knowing” of death and impermanence can be quite unpleasant and freeing. As we practice, I wonder if we can gently let go of old identities, roles, and stories? Remembering impermanence softens our grip on what we fear losing and invites us into deeper presence with this breath, this body, this moment. Tools like the WeCroak app can serve as simple reminders of this truth, not to create fear, but to awaken gratitude and aliveness in the ordinary moments of the day.I find mindfulness meditation supports my intention to live more fully now….if only for a moment.
