“What if somehow just for a moment nothing needs to be different.”
Henry Shukman - Zen Teacher, Poet, Author of "Original Love” w/ The Sacred Speakspodcast @ ~1:14:40
I have lived much of my life with the belief that I need to do something in order to get something. Mindfulness invites me to pause that habit, even briefly, and allow it all to be as it is... In those moments, the body and mind often soften, and presence quietly shows up on its own; perhaps this is what is meant by original love?
I find mindfulness meditation supports my intention to be….if only for a moment.
