  • Be With Today With Love

Hum, I am reflecting that it’s Easter, and I am pulling a quote from the Buddha.  I do believe that great teachers, Jesus and the Buddha, complement each other well (versus compete).

I refer to Richard Rohr to describe resurrection:

Resurrection is not a one-time event but a universal pattern — the blueprint of all creation.  Each morning we are invited to participate in this divine rhythm: dying to the false self, and rising again in love.  Mindfulness or meditation is simply consenting to this moment, to this day, as the place where resurrection happens. Jesus didn’t just rise once; he rises in us, every time we choose presence over fear, compassion over control, and trust over certainty. The Risen Christ is God’s ‘yes’ to now.

I find mindfulness meditation supports my intention be with today with love….if only for a moment.
