Just Be

There is nothing to practice – only a resting in the deep knowing that I am okay, just as I am. I can simply be. In many ways, I am in recovery from seeking. At times, seeking has served me well, but other times, it has been driven by a sense of scarcity, the worry that I am not enough.
The patterns of the mind are not as personal as they seem. While my story is unique, the underlying currents are shared by much of humanity. Remembering this can bring ease, a gentle release into the truth of our shared humanity. And in that knowing, there is space for self-compassion, for loving-kindness toward this being, just as I am.
I find mindfulness meditation supports my intention to just be….if only for a moment.
