Notice My Reactivity and Choose Peace
Unknown author and appreciate the reminder that peace is not dependent on perfect conditions. It's catching our reactivity and softening our thoughts, heart and body in the midst of difficulty.
In our mindfulness practice, we train ourselves to:
- Observe thoughts, feelings and body sensations,
- Allow and be curious, and
- Cultivate equanimity where we balance ourselves so we don’t get totally swept away by life’s highs and lows.
I find mindfulness meditation supports my intention to notice my reactivity and choose peace ....if only for a moment.
