See Activation As Education

“We want to neutralize symptoms as quickly as possible.  We don’t want to look for meaning.”

Miles Neale - Author of Return with Elixir on The Sacred Speaks podcast @ ~29:03

In mindfulness meditation, we practice turning toward experience rather than rushing to manage or eliminate it. When we slow down enough to notice what is actually here, symptoms often reveal themselves as meaningful signals rather than problems to solve.  It feels like an encouragement to stay present long enough for meaning to emerge on its own.

I’ve been really enjoying how The Sacred Speaks continues to stretch my thinking. One refuge I have is the thought “There is a bigger story here” and listening to these guests support this premise.

I find mindfulness meditation supports my intention see activation as education….if only for a moment.
